Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Front Desk Administrator for our behavioral health organization to manage our front desk and perform a variety of administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and will provide exceptional customer service to individuals seeking behavioral health care services. The Front Desk Administrator will also provide support to client providers as well.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
- Manage front desk emails and respond to inquiries promptly
- Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendar
- Process patient payments and issue receipts for services rendered
- Provide general administrative support as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a front desk administrator, receptionist, or similar role in a behavioral health setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with an empathetic approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software programs quickly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Availability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing work environment
- Desire to grow with our company as we expand our services and offerings
- Medical background highly desired, but not required
